Brad took on the challenging project of repairing the work a previous landscaper had performed, as well as adding some new features to our acreage property. While it took a couple years to get our yard “just right”, it is worth the wait to have a quality project (~$200,000) done right.

In March 2021, we hired Fiddler’s Green to fix several deficiencies with a previous landscaping job which included re-grading parts of our property, fixing stone patios and building a large cedar garden box. The workmanship is excellent and Brad and his team were very easy to work with. Brad listened carefully to our issues and proposed practical, cost effective solutions that still met my wife’s design aesthetics. Brad and team are very responsive which is very important to us. Fiddlers Green redid our driveway, sidewalk and front lawn. We cannot recommend strongly enough. We are thrilled with the result. In fact, due to the watering restrictions, Fiddler’s Green continues to care for our yard at no charge. A watering truck is sent out daily to ‘save’ the plants newly installed but also to water the rest of my garden. Water rationing and snow in June were just some of the challenges Fiddler’s Green faced but their crew was so polite and professional. I recommend Fiddler’s Green without equivocation.

Fiddler’s Green did our backyard summer 2020 – a cedar retaining wall with planters, cedar back steps, paver patio extension, levelled the yard (including removing a giant spruce), sod, and front paver steps. We got a landscape design done separately and while we had noted our budget at that phase when we got the quotes from various companies they were way above our budget. Fiddler’s was understanding and worked with us to get as close to our initial plan and as close to our original budget. Brad’s team was hardworking and a pleasure to have around. There were delays due to procurement and old piping from an old house. Overall it was still very expensive, but we at least felt informed about our options and that they worked with us to find a solution.

Fiddlers did a spring cleanup after i had moved in my house and did a thorough job on the lawn cleanup as well as the flower beds- nicely edged and all the old leaves removed from the last owner.
